Christer is one smart kid, he never fails to amaze me everyday. Actually, I’m planning to write a book soon on all the comic and wonderful things he asks. Last night, straight home from work, I heard him asking his tito eli "tito eli, bakit nilalagyan ng palaman ang tinapay?". Then it hit me that’s a good one!Now I have a title for my book project. My mistake is, I never kept the list of things he said and ask from the first time he learned to talk. So, if I can give just one advice to writers, it is to always keep a pad and a pen to jot down ideas; because they leave as soon as they cross your mind. Now, my only resource is my butterfinger head, which is ulyanin na po. I remember one time we we’re swimming in the beach and he asked me "mama, sino gumawa ng dagat?" , I told him it’s Jesus. Then he said, "Jesus, salamat po at ginawa mo ang dagat, at nilagyan mo ng asin." Amazing kid. Can’t wait to go back home and can’t wait to hear what he’ll utter next. This time I have a pen and paper ready in case.
