Thinking Of You lyrics

Comparisons are easily done
Once you’ve had a taste of perfection
Like an apple hanging from a tree
I picked the ripest one, I still got the seed

You said move on, where do I go?
I guess second best is all I will know

‘Cause when I’m with him I am thinking of you
(Thinking of you, thinking of you)
Thinking of you, what you would do
If you were the one who was spending the night
(Spending the night, spending the night)
Oh, I wish that I was looking into your eyes

You’re like an Indian summer in the middle of winter
Like a hard candy with a surprise center
How do I get better once I’ve had the best?
You said there’s tons of fish in the water, so the waters I will test

He kissed my lips, I taste your mouth, oh!
(Taste your mouth)
He pulled me in, I was disgusted with myself

‘Cause when I’m with him I am thinking of you
(Thinking of you, thinking of you)
Thinking of you, what you would do
If you were the one who was spending the night
(Spending the night, spending the night)
Oh, I wish that I was looking into

You’re the best, and yes, I do regret
How I could let myself let you go
Now, now the lesson’s learned
I touched it, I was burned
Oh, I think you should know!

‘Cause when I’m with him I am thinking of you
(Thinking of you, thinking of you)
Thinking of you, what you would do
If you were the one who was spending the night
(Spending the night, spending the night)
Oh, I wish that I was looking into your, your eyes
Looking into your eyes, looking into your eyes

Oh, won’t you walk through?
And bust in the door and take me away?
Oh, no more mistakes
‘Cause in your eyes I’d like to stay, stay

I crashed and burned

…yes, but like a phoenix i did rise out of the ashes.

i can not divulge every painful emotion I went through the past few weeks but still a girl needs a breathing space right?

One thing’s for sure, what you learn from your mistake will help you become a much stronger, better person in the end; ready to face a bright new day.

Lessons learned:

1. You are responsible  for your own happiness. Do not depend on anyone else to save you.

2. Become self-reliant. Never expect someone to do the job for you. In the end it is only your that can make things happen for you.

3. Be loyal. Always stick to your family and friends. Appreciate every moment you have spent together - nothing can equal that.

4. Stay Focused. Keep your eye on your goal. Do not get distracted.

5. Keep yourself busy. Join a new group or take up a new craft. I think I’ll go to the gym (boxing and yoga would be good options) and enroll in a driving school asap. Also the writing school I planned to enrol in last year, I think I will take up that class after learning how to drive. And I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the guitar so I think I’ll buy one on my next salary.

6.  Take care of and pamper yourself. Always feel beautiful inside and out. Keep a happy countenance, always. List the things that make you fabulous, because you are!

7. Pray. Hope. Do not lose hope. And keep the Faith.

8. Still believe in love and that life is beautiful. Do not let any individual or event destroy the meaning of love and life for you.

9. Learn. Always learn from your mistakes and turn a dreary situation to a positive experience. We are born to make mistakes so we can eventually master life and any hard blows it might get in our way.

10. Live and count your blessing everyday. Just breath. Life goes on. Remember things would’ve been much worse but it didn’t; so always be thankful.
